FINN’S STORY

PLEASE DONT SHOP, ADOPT

Whilst it can be nice to choose the specific breed you would like for a dog, there are many draw backs to this and untold stories of heartache. The mothers to these dogs are bred again and again and have no life outside of that cycle. The pups are often genetically damaged, conditions that can be painful, costly and at worst fatal, it’s not a fair life for them either and the breeders don’t care, it’s all about the money.

The impact on this family financially and emotionally was huge, and Finn was very lucky they were able to give him the vet care he needed.

We need to break this cycle of supply and demand for our sake, but mostly, for theirs.

THIS IS FINN’S STORY

Finn was one of the most handsome puppies you will ever see and had a larger than life personality to match his beauty.

Finn came from a breeder in Missouri and then was sold to a pet store in MA for profit.

Finn really was sick a lot from birth. Had full hip surgery for displasia at a year old and seemed to have more feeling yucky days not waiting great than good days. But through it all he was champ. Loved to swim loved the beach and loved his family for sure!!

Finn was diagnosed as genetically weak shortly after birth  and struggled with health issues and the surgery early on but fought to live life to his fullest every single day. He passed away at just 20 months old from a rare sarcoma, probable cause genetics and our hearts were forever broken.

Through this devastating loss it was clear that Finn deserved so much more than the life he was given and there was a reason Finn came to our family.

Today our hope is to open ‘With Love, Finn’ to sell treats, and help raise awareness so we can save dogs around the world.

We love and miss you Finn 💜
